Water
Use a special prefabs water_prefab_lakebig and water_prefab_lakesmall to add lakes, rivers, puddles and so on:
Create a suitable terrain and resize the water prefab so that it fits into the terrain. Sometimes you will need use the Mesh Editor tab in Tool Shelf to modify the positions and the number of vertices of the prefab to make the water prefab fit:
You can modify the water visual appearance in the Inspector panel:

Change the ripples scale: prop_water > Waves > Small waves amplitude.

Change the waves scale: prop_water > Waves > Big waves amplitude.

The following parameters are responsible for the percieved color of the water:
- prop_water > Surface > Tint — the color of the water.
- prop_water > Volume properties > Fog — the color of the lower levels of the water. Mostly useful when working with deep water.
- prop_water > Volume properties > Refraction filter — the color of the surfaces and objects below the water level.
